Reach Week Oklahoma

What is Reach Week?  

During October 26 - November 1, we are committing together to engage the harvest fields around us each day. Join in by simply committing to pray for lost people in your life and purposely pursuing gospel conversations with those around you during these days. You can also join in planned outreaches close to where you live. Reach Week is being organized by the No Place Left Network, Ridge Christian, Believers Church, Neighbors to the Nations Church, Devoted Bible Church, Sent Ones and e3 Partners but open to anyone.  

What if I have never done anything like this before?  

God is at work in the harvest already! Rest assured He is waiting for us to join Him there. Even if you have never done anything like this before, we welcome you to join in Reach Week. A simple way to join is by praying for the lost people in your life each day. You are also more than welcome to join any of the community times of outreach to observe, learn and participate as the Spirit leads.

How can I participate?  

Set goals for any of the following during Reach Week:

• pray for the lost people in your life for a certain amount of time each day (see this simple tool) 

• share the Gospel with a certain amount of people each day during the week (i.e. three gospel shares per day) (see this simple tool)

• prayer walk your neighborhood, park or other place a set amount of time during the week (see this prayerwalking resource)

• train a certain amount of Christians how to share the Gospel during the week (see this training tool)

• meet new people with the hope of sharing the Gospel with them now or in the future (start praying for them)

• reconnect with old friends with the hope of sharing the Gospel with them now or in the future (start praying for them)

When and where are the community times of outreach?

In addition to setting personal goals, we are also planning community times of outreach, trainings, and prayer in Tulsa, Pryor, and Broken Arrow. Join us for any of these!

• Monday, October 27 - Friday, October 31 - 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Zoom prayer call (Leader - Dayne Lukes)

• Monday, October 27, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM - Outreach in Pryor (Leader - Randy Thorman)

• Tuesday, October 28, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM - Outreach in Broken Arrow (Leader - Bryan King)

• Wednesday, October 29, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Tulsa (Leader - Kevin and Averi Diaz)

• Thursday, October 30, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM -  North Tulsa  (Leader - Gregg and Cindy Brown)

• Friday, October 31, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Block Parties (Leaders - Dave McClain and Dayne Lukes)

• Saturday, November 1, TBD - Outreach in Tulsa (Leader - Stevin Surajin)

• Sunday, November  2, 6:00 PM - Reach Week Celebration (Leader - Dave McClain)

What else can I do to collaborate with others during this week?

We would love to keep track of attempts we make for God together during this week and then celebrate the fruit as the Lord provides. To this end, we will be given the opportunity to share what God did during the week. More information to follow on this in the days to come.  

Can I invite others to participate?

Absolutely. Reach Week is about the whole body of Christ engaging the harvest fields around them. Feel free to invite your church, small group, friends, etc.
